It is my title – ‘Form Captain’

My five year old daughter loves to fill forms while playing ‘office’! I’m only too happy to cooperate because this keeps her busy in a quiet way.

Mum – Anu, what are you doing?

Anu – Mum, I am filling a form for my office.

Mum (looks at what she is filling) – What is that? You have written ‘FC’ for title?

Anu – Yes, you should know.. it is my title – ‘Form Captain’.

I must add, there was a strange sense of pride in her voice when she said ‘Form Captain’. Rightfully so – she has a very important job in her class – she is in charge of the class register!!
